Difference Between 2-piece and 3-piece Wheels

• The center disc is usually made from a single piece of material (similar to the 2-piece wheel).
• The inner barrel is a separate piece that connects to the center disc, and the outer rim (barrel) is another separate piece that connects to the inner barrel.

• 3-piece wheels offer more design customization options because of the additional components (inner barrel and outer rim) that can be individually customized in terms of width, offset, color, and finish.
• 2-piece wheels have fewer customization options since there are only two main components.
